Students the world over walked out of their classrooms and took to the streets, demanding that their governments take swift and radical action in response to the climate change emergency. These activists are peacefully urging the world to cut down on the use of fossil fuels and to address the ecological and environmental catastrophe that is slowly destroying our planet. As millions of young people stood in the streets, an increasing number of adults joined the movement, making it one of the largest peaceful activist movements in the world.
